We have taken on a new instruction from our client in South Wales.

Your role will be to ‘track and trace’ cluster outbreaks of Coronavirus and to carry out follow up inspections. This will be determining current and past locations of individuals suspected to, or having been diagnosed with Coronavirus. You would need to be able to gather information to establish who may be at risk of contraction. Once locations are identified, you may then need to carry out an inspection pertinent to your findings. Therefore, this will not only be restricted solely to food establishments.


You must have had some experience and knowledge of infection control. For example, dealing with Norovirus/Salmonella/Ecoli outbreaks and taking action as appropriate to to prevent the spread of the virus. It would be advantageous if you are familiar, and have worked with the likes of the Health Protection Agency, and attended meetings where threats to human health from infectious diseases are a topic of discussion.
