On behalf of a client in the West London area we are looking for an experienced, determined and quick thinking ASB Enforcement Officer to assist the Housing team in planning, investigating and tackling various Anti-social Behaviour cases in the borough.


Daily Tasks & Aims:

  • To contribute to ensuring the Council achieves its vision and business objectives.
  • To ensure that tenants, leaseholders and customers are at the heart of all services and that all staff demonstrate a commitment to the development and implementation of the Council’s involvement frameworks.
  • To be aware of all relevant and regulatory frameworks within the anti-social behaviour service.
  • To provide training, guidance and support to Housing Officers on the management of Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB), Domestic Violence and Hate Crime cases.
  • To prepare and serve legal notices and prepare cases for court. Provide and encourage residents who are victims of ASB to attend court hearings to give evidence, preparing witness statements and court documentation as required.
  • To work closely with the Council legal service to obtain a range of legal remedies e.g. injunctions, possession proceeding etc. preparing any witness statements or legal documentation as required.

To Be Considered:

  • Experience of dealing with general Anti-Social Behaviour would be needed as well as experience of conducting estate patrols and conflict management, experience of conducting witness and perpetrator interviews and experience of managing serious and complex ASB cases and preparing own case management strategy.
  • The post holder must be flexible and be prepared to work outside normal office hours on occasion according to the needs of the service.
  • The post holder must be able to drive and provide their own vehicle. An essential user car allowance will be paid
  • Knowledge of legislation that applies to the management of Domestic Violence, Racial Harassment and Anti-Social Behaviour.
  • Standard DBS required.
  • Essential car user. Full UK or EU driving licence required.
  • Remote working would be a possibility
